ISS Santa Tracker flyover times on Christmas Eve 2015

By Peter Chubb - Dec 24, 2015

With it being Christmas Eve 2015 people will start to wonder where Father Christmas is, and there are several ways in which you can do this. However, there is something new for this year, as we have noticed people have started to ask about ISS Santa Tracker. We knew about this earlier in the year, but for some reason totally forgot.

People will be looking for the ISS location for Christmas Eve 2015, and so you will want to go to the Spot The Station page from NASA. Here you will be able to use the Sighting Location Lookup tool for the ISS flyover time in your country.

How to use – Using the ISS tracking tool is very simple, all you do is select from the drop down menu, where you will have to select your country, state or region and city.

It took a few goes to make our selection because it seems the website is already experiencing heavy demand. Thankfully, we were able to make our choice with one of the pre-selected popular locations.

Let’s say you are in London, then the location of the International Space Station on Thu Dec 24, is 5:21 PM, with a maximum height of 14°, and will be 14° above SSW and 10° above S.

Just for the children; Santa’s sleigh will be seen in the sky for two minutes from South West to the South East at that time above, so make sure you are looking up in the sky. Let’s just hope it is a clear night. There are also other ways to track Santa.
