A few days ago we learned that the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops concept model is to go into production and that it should be on sale in the spring 2016. However, not many more details were revealed, and so this has left us with so many questions left unanswered.
2016 Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops equipment – This is one of the most asked questions about the production model, because people wish to know what equipment from the concept will be used for the production model.
Looking over all the features from the concept model, it seems feasible that all the equipment could be taken and used when the Limited Edition truck goes into production.
This would mean the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado Special Ops would come with the Chevrolet Performance air intake and exhaust kits, brake package, black bowtie emblems, underbody shield, sport bar, LED off-road lights and wheel flares. Along with 20-inch aluminum wheels complete with off-road tires, custom rocker guards, GearOn tiered storage system, utility rack package and cargo tie-down rings. Finally, we could also expect to see floor liners, spray-in bedlinen, and embroidered headrests with the Special Ops logo.
Production will be limited, although no numbers have been shared at this time. We also have no idea as to its price, and so we will have to wait until closer to its spring release date.
