2016 Fiat Tipo Vs. Skoda Rapid review desired

By Peter Chubb - Dec 4, 2015

There seems to be a huge interest with the new 2016 Fiat Tipo, as it is soon to reach UK shores, and so some of the big auto websites have started to give the upcoming model a test drive. And while they always have to be careful with new models, they cannot hold back too much because it is so important to build up a good idea of just what they have to offer.

2016 Fiat Tipo Vs. Skoda Rapid – In a recent review they pointed out that the new Tipo rival will be the Rapid, and so there is a desire to have these two pitted against each other in a review comparison.

We know that some of you will be interested to know how this budget saloon compares to the Ford Focus, but AutoExpress has already pointed out in their review that while the new Fiat Tipo is fine dynamically, it is no way able to compete with the Focus, and so it would not even be fair to try to pit these two together.

Try not to be put off by this though, as the Tipo is still a fine car, which offers a great deal of comfort thanks to its soft set-up, although there are still occasions when the suspension just cannot handle some of the rough roads that we have in Britain.

You will be surprised at just how comfortable you become in this car, but this can also be a bad thing, as the reviewer found out when trying to take a corner too quick after becoming too relaxed behind the wheel, and found that there was far too much body roll.

We have yet to come across any 2016 Fiat Tipo video reviews, although it’s still early days, and so we hope to see them start appearing on YouTube in the coming weeks.
