We can see that Argos are currently offering a very good price on the LG 49 inch 49LF510V Full HD LED TV. However, we are surprised to see that this model appears to be something of a mystery in relation to LG 49LF510V reviews and due to a lack of official support from LG themselves.
The 49-inch LG 49LF510V specs are actually very good for the £329 asking price. It includes a 1080p LED display, with Freeview HD, a native 50Hz refresh rate but only 1 HDMI port which is odd and also only a single USB port as well.
Now here is where the confusion starts for potential buyers. There is currently no information available for this model on LG UK’s website, including no support section for post-purchase help from LG.
Even more bizarre is that Tesco’s listing for this model includes Smart TV support with built-in WiFi. This is strange since this crucial information is nowhere to be seen on the Argos listing here – meaning that something fishy is going on.
We know that LG offer this same model in other countries around Europe such as Denmark, Czech Republic and Poland.
However trying to find detailed information on it for the UK market is non-existent at the moment – so that is something to bear in mind as you consider a purchase.
Yes the price is very attractive, but does the lack of LG 49LF510V reviews online and no official support from LG UK (at the time of writing) make this model a big turn off for you?
We have however digged out the LG 49LF510V manual via Argos here, but again this appears to be a generic manual which combines several LG models into one rather than host specific information for the LG 49LF510V.
Let us know your thoughts on this and if you still want to buy one while it is available at a low price.
