With Mercedes wrapping up the F1 Constructors World Championship, and also their driver, Lewis Hamilton winning his third Driver’s World Championship, it seemed fitting for them to celebrate in some way. Well, that way is something very special by way of the Mercedes-AMG A 45 PETRONAS Edition – although not sure the livery will be to everyone’s taste.
The Mercedes-AMG A 45 PETRONAS 2015 World Champion Edition comes in silver and turquoise livery, and is due to be released to the UK market next year, although no specific date has been set.
As for the Mercedes-AMG A 45 PETRONAS Edition price, a figure from around £46,000 has been suggested, although we will know more closer to its release.
So we know that the outside comes with that questionable color scheme, and it will also sport a front-splitter, and a large rear spoiler.
There are also huge 19-inch cross-spoke wheels, which also matches the color scheme of the car itself, which are finished off with green detailing in the centre of the wheels.
As for the inside, you get a choice of leather or fabric seats, and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, which is mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, and sends power to all four wheels.
Look out for this limited edition model to be on shown during the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend.
