For many consumers choosing a new TV, going for one that sports 4K UHD and also Smart features is so important to them. They also know that Samsung would be the right brand for, but then comes the next issue, and that is what size to go for. Some people feel that going too small will spoil the experience, whereas choosing a TV that is too large can look silly in certain living rooms, and so it is that fine balance between what you want, and what you actually need.
We have already seen many consumers trying to choose between the Samsung UN40JU6400FXZA Samsung 40″ Class LED, 2160p Smart 4K Ultra HD TV and the Samsung UE60JU6000 Smart UHD 4k 60″ LED TV. It’s obvious that both these models will be very popular this month and in December, as consumers always seem to save all year in order to treat themselves.
You will notice that both come with 4K, as well as Smart features, which are so important in this day and age. Although if you do not have it built into your TV, then all you need to do is add a dongle or a set-top-box, such as Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast or the Apple TV.
Most of the specs of each of these models are the same, although there are slight differences due to their screen sizes. One of which would be the power consumption, as the Samsung UN40JU6400FXZA has an estimated 84 kilowatt hours for its annual use, compared to 132 kWh for the UE60JU6000.
Both have a maximum resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K), 800 PQI processing rate, PurColor, Motion Rate 120, Contrast Enhancer, ConnectShare Movie, Ultra Clear panel and built-in WiFi.
As for ports, these are also the same with 3 HDMI Inputs, 2 USB, a SCART, Component and Composite input. There is also Ethernet if you rather use a cable and not wireless for all those online features.
To get a better idea for both of these models, you can read over some of the Samsung UN40JU6400FXZA owner reviews on Best Buy. However, for some reason there does not seem to be any Samsung UE60JU6000 reviews, and so we think this could be a Currys exclusive model.
