We are still waiting for the final FIAT 124 Spider pricing and specifications for the new 2017 model, although that information is to be announced at a later date. However, it will need to be before the second half of 2016, as this is when the FIAT 124 Spider is released. Even though we have yet to learn of those details above, we now know a lot more because of its unveil today at the LA Auto Show.
It’s been 50 years in the making, and so it’s finally nice to see the revival of the 125 Spider, although this new model still pays homage to that older model with some classic styling. This new 2016 model is compact in its design, lightweight and also rear-wheel drive for a fun driving experience.
Performance is helped along with its MultiAir Turbo engine, while the sophisticated suspension and steering not only aides the fun, but also improves the driving pleasure. The premium upholstery also adds to the classic styling, as does the steering wheel and three-gauge instrument cluster, although still trying to bring a fine balance with its modern technology.
Most people tend to worry abut how noisy a small convertible vehicle like this will be, and so did FIAT. This is why they have used sound insulation in order to reduce wind and road noise. The soft top has also been fitted with a headliner that helps to absorb sound.
We could go on about how great this car will be, but feel it would be far better for you to head to the FIAT website, where they talk about their upcoming model in greater details.
