Samsung UN60J6200 60-inch TV review for 60 Vs 120Hz

By Alan Ng - Nov 24, 2015

Samsung are planning to launch an assault this year with many new 2015 models due to hit the shops. Retailers are going to take full advantage of this of course with some low prices and now we have some details to share on one particular model, with a Samsung UN60J6200 60-inch LED TV review which could represent great value for money.

This isn’t a 4K model, but it does appear to be one of Samsung’s most affordable 60-inch LED TVs which offers Smart app functionality.

Samsung UN60J6200 specs include a 60-inch Full HD 1080p LED display with Motion Rate 120, 2 HDMI inputs, 2 USB inputs and mobile phone screen mirroring features.

What we wanted to point out though, is that there appears to be conflicting evidence on whether this is a true 120Hz native TV, or a 60Hz display enhanced up to 120Hz using Samsung’s image processing technology.

For example, Amazon lists this model with a 120Hz effective refresh rate, while Walmart’s listing advertises it with a 60Hz refresh rate boosted up to 120Hz.

However, analysis conducted here suggests that the display has a 120Hz native refresh rate proven by tests so it is interesting to see the divide in opinions.

Either way, if you manage to find this TV well under $1000 it could still be a great option for you with a massive display combined with Smart TV features – especially if 4K doesn’t appeal to you just yet.
