We know we have looked at a few top-end TVs during the past week or so because they make perfect gifts for that special person in your life over Christmas. However, there are those of you out there that either have a small budget, or just does not feel the need for such an expensive model because they will be going in a kitchen or your child’s bedroom. If that is the case, then you might want to think about the LG 24LF452B 24″ 720p LED HDTV.

Just by looking at it you know that the LG 24LF452B TV specs are not going to be amazing, but then again this is not what you are buying it for. There are so many of you out there that has to put a DVD on for your child before going to sleep, and this model would be perfect for that, or even a Blu-ray for that matter.

The 23.6-inch screen makes it perfect for a bedroom or even a dorm room, so ideal as a going away gift for you child as he or she goes on to further their education. The 720p resolution works well with a screen of that size, and so you won’t really miss 1080p Full HD. This model also has a 60Hz refresh rate for fast moving scenes, and its clear sound is also a welcome feature.

You also get a HDMI port so that you can connect your DVD or Blu-ray player – so you might want to buy your child some movies and a player as well.

One issue we do have, and that’s the fact it lacks a USB port, so you are unable to use a streaming stick to get even more content. As for price, Best Buy currently asks for $150, although we have heard that a price drop to $80 looms.
