Digiland DL1008M 10.1-inch tablet review desired

By Alan Ng - Nov 11, 2015

Digiland is a very popular brand when it comes to picking up a cheap tablet during the busy sales period. We have taken a look a several Digiland models in recent years, but now we can see that Digiland will be offering a new tablet in 2015 with the Digiland DL1008M 10.1-inch 16GB tablet.

We know that it is new as it will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop straight out of the box, making it a rather nice incentive for consumers looking for a bargain tablet but still with capable hardware specs.

Aside from Lollipop, the Digiland DL1008M specs include a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1024×600 pixels. There is a ARM Cortex-A7, 1.3GHz Quad Core processor on board with 1GB of RAM built by MTK and a 2.0 megapixel rear camera with 0.3MP front camera for video chat.

In terms of storage there is 16GB internal memory included, but the option to expand this with MicroSD card which is always essential.

The only negative aspect that we can see about this tablet, is the fact that currently there are no Digiland DL1008M 10.1-inch tablet reviews online at the time of writing.

Consumers would always like to check purchase feedback from others, especially with a lesser-known brand. However since this is one of Digiland’s latest models with Android 5.1 Lollipop, there isn’t any feedback as of yet.

We did pick out the official product listing for this model however, although you may be concerned to find out there there is no support details offered by Digiland on their website.

Great quality for cheap. I started buying DigiLand products for the kids a year ago. I bought one because it was so cheap…if the kids broke it, no big deal. I was skeptical, but the quality is so good I have bought four 7″ tablets this year. On Black Friday, I ordered a 10″ tablet for myself. Display is excellent, speed of processing is excellent, internet is excellent, and I really can’t find anything I don’t like. Even has an hdmi jack. I compared this to my son’s more expensive brand, and I just don’t see why anyone would buy something more expensive.

I got one on black friday for a relative and tried it out while visiting. It works great. I’ve only had el cheapo tablets myself, so my expectations weren’t high because it was such a great price. It’s faster than my phone and the games she downloaded loaded quickly and started right up. Video streaming worked great, that’s what it’s main use will be. Word to the wise: go to settings before you start downloading apps and change download location to memory card as default. She was unable to send the already downloaded stuff to the memory card so they took up some space on the internal memory.

I saw this tablet, the Digiland DL1008M at best buy at the palisades mall in Rockland County, NY USA for $100. I couldn’t find the usb driver on the internet but the sales person told me the USB driver, as with all tablets, is installed from the tablet when you plug it into your computer.
