Whenever you look at consumer technology news to do with the latest or upcoming TV models, they usually consist of brands such as LG, Samsung, Sony and Panasonic. However, these only make up a small percentage of the number of televisions sold, as we also have to consider those budget models. We know that the larger brands are dropping their prices of 1080p TVs because of the rise in 4K model sales, but the likes of Westinghouse still has a part to play.

Take the Westinghouse 55-inch DWM55F1G1 LED TV, its price is below $300 in some stores in the US, which is a bargain when you consider the size of its panel. However, it still has something to offer those of you on a budget that just cannot stretch to 4K, or feel there is not enough supported content at the moment.
