NuVision TM700A520L 7-inch tablet with Android 5.0 Lollipop

By Peter Chubb - Nov 8, 2015

Over the past few years laptop sales have fallen at a dramatic rate, this is because a huge percentage of people found that they never really need to have such a large device for certain tasks. However, it was not until smartphones and tablets came onto the scene that this was realized.

Don’t feel too sorry for laptop makers, as most of them have adapted to demand, and now make tablets, with budget models being a very lucrative business. Speaking of which, we recently learned that Staples will have a budget model for sale later this month at a reduced price, and this is the NuVision 7-inch tablet with Android 5.0 Lollipop.

While we do not have a specific model number, we decided to look on the official NuVision website, and the only 7-inch model there is the TM700A520L, and so we presume this must be it – unless Staples will offload stock of an older model?

If this is to be the model of tablet for sale at Staples later this month, then its specs are as follows: A 7-inch HD display with a resolution of 1024 x 600. An Intel Atom processor, 1GB of RAM and 8GB of built-in storage. There are also dual cameras, with 2-megapixel at the rear, and 0.3 on the front. You can find more details about this tablet on the official NuVision website. However, we would just like to point out that Staples will be selling this $99.99 tablet for $39.99 later this month.

I am quite disappointed with the NuVision tablet. The price was certainly good, but I guess you get what you pay for. The system is VERY slow and the browser keeps crashing to the point that I just gave up on this device and went back to using my small screen samsung cell phone. Spend a little more money and get something better.
