Winter time change is in UK tonight, Oct 2015

By Daniel Chubb - Oct 24, 2015

While it happens every year, Product Reviews readers are wondering when does the time change in the UK on October 24/25, 2015? The tradition might be outdated for some that desire rolling back the clocks to be abolished, but for now you will need to change your clocks in the UK later on tonight, or during the early hours.

The Winter time change for the UK takes place at 2AM on Sunday Morning, when most people adhere to the 2015 Daylight Saving Time ending. You turn back your clocks one hour at this time in London, Bristol, and other areas of England, Wales, and Scotland.

It’s pretty simple on Android smartphones and iPhone’s running iOS 9.1 as well, you shouldn’t need to ask what time is it? The clocks should change automatically on most phones, although this hasn’t always been the case with bugs being reported especially on iPhone devices in the past.

When do the clocks change for United States rather than UK? The time change in fall 2015 is a little different for those of our readers in the US, as the British time change comes slightly sooner than USA. You should monitor your Daylight Savings Time change on November 1st, 2015. If you follow Product Reviews, we will make sure you don’t miss it and of course inform readers about any problems with technology devices like smartphone software.

I just checked my iPhone settings in iOS 9.1, just after doing the update. I noticed the automatic time/date is turned off, no idea how that happened and would have been a big problem in the morning. Happy I checked now, I recommended all iPhone owners do the same today.

Thanks, I knew they were going back but didn’t know at what time or what date. Cheers.
