Renault Kwid RxE, RxL and RxT variants revealed

By Peter Chubb - Sep 11, 2015

The Renault Kwid launch in India has finally taken place, and we were treated to details of all four variants, which are the Standard model, RxE, RxL and the RxT. We were already treated to some details once the vehicle went into production a couple of months back, but the small, new vehicle from Renault is finally here.

Looking over the features of the standard Renault Kwid, we can tell right away that things are very basic, although you do have a choice to add an option or two. Take the steering for example, this is not even power-assisted, instead it is manual, and so could be a bit heavy for some of you to use.

As for the Renault Kwid RxE features, this comes with the same features as the Std, along with Bluetooth, 12v charging socket, A/C, and a foldable back seat and more. Next is the Renault Kwid RxL, which comes with color-coded bumpers, tinted windows, Bluetooth and telephony, passenger-side ORVM, front speakers and auto on-off cabin light.

The best model of the range is the Renault Kwid RxT, which comes with all the features of those other three models, as well as fog lamps, champion red upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, media navigation pack, remote keyless entry, and more.

Full details of each trim can be found here, although we still do not know the price of each Renault Kwid variant.
