Dota players are on red alert at the moment, as there has been a new Dota 2 Reborn update for September 1. It weighs in at a whopping 5.8GB in size so most of you will be looking for the Dota 2 patch notes today to see what is new.
Right away, we can already see that some of you are in a state of crisis over the sheer size of the update. 5.8GB is obviously larger than what most of you are used to installing for your Dota updates, but Valve has said that that it’s a one-time download that you won’t need to download again once the main client receives future updates in due course.
As a result, you will find a list of all of the Dota 2 Reborn patch notes here over on the official website. There are simply too many changes to list all here, but we can see that the developers have included improved input processing latency, as well as a correctly sorted friends list as some examples of what’s new.
