Well, it’s that time of year again when people will be celebrating Independence Day tomorrow, the Fourth of July. You will be amazed at how many people still ask why do we celebrate the 4th of July, which we find shocking, it’s like they were never taught at school.

Having said that, people celebrate it for different reasons, and some just use the celebrations as an excuse to eat, drink and watch fireworks. No matter what, we are sure many of you have friends and family around on this very special day, and so you will be eager to hunt around for some of the best 4th of July recipes, as we know your guests will want some amazing food.

We do find it strange that people tend to look more for 4th of July desserts, and also Fourth of July appetizers, so did you know that there are a few apps out there that will help make your job of searching for the ideal recipe that little easier.

The first app we have to offer you an inspiration for 4th of July dessert recipes is Desserts: MyRecipes Daily Indulgence for the iPad. You can search through more than 400 dessert recipes, which have been made available from some of the top magazines. These include cupcakes, frozen treats, cakes, cookies, low-sugar treats and so much more.
