Hyundai Creta bookings are expected to begin on July 21, and so we cannot wait to see the influx of reviews once key auto websites in India get their hands on the new model. We have come across an early one, although not too certain if it is a proper test drive, and rather a very short one on a closed test track.
With compact SUVs proving very popular in India, there is no denying the huge anticipation that awaits this model; we just hope the new Hyundai Creta lives up to all the hype it is currently receiving. Having said that, we already have a good idea as to its design, interior and performance thanks to its key details being released.
While there are not really any Hyundai Creta reviews to enjoy just yet, Yahoo News India has been looking at those key details mentioned above, and has also taken it on a very short test drive on Hyundai’s test track. They say having such a short drive was very tough to gauge any sort of understanding just to how good the new compact SUV is, although it was clear to see the ride comfort shows promising signs.
Improvements were very easy to point out right from the start, such as the steering now feeling much tighter and more accurate. However, there still seems to be an issue with body roll when taking tight corners, although it’s not as bad as we have seen in other Hyundai models.
The Hyundai Creta is expected to be in the range of 8 to 12 lakh and will compete with the likes of the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano, and Renault Duster.
