June DBS update for service apps

By Peter Chubb - Jun 30, 2015

The June DBS update for service apps were not for all of them, as a few had their updates in April and May, although three were refreshed with a host of new features, and performance tweaks. The three DBS mobile apps updated were PayLah, mBanking and mTrading for Android and iOS devices.

The DBS PayLah app was updated on June 21 and came with a host of new features to enhance your experience, such as being able to pay for your online purchases with PayLah securely and swiftly. The app is now available for everyone; this also includes non-DBS and POSB customers. Several bugs have now been fixed.

The DBS mBanking app was updated today, although only offers minor bug fixes and improved navigation. This means that there was not much wrong with this app, which brings all of the DBS apps under one roof. All you need to do is swipe across to access the other apps you have installed on your Android or iPhone, iPad device. This app also allows you to activate your cards, check balances, transfer funds, pay bills and so much more.

DBSV mTrading is the final app to be updated this month, and this new version comes with a fresh new design, SMS-OTP, which is the ability to trade without a 2FA secure device, and finally, research from DBS Asian Insights. This is already on top of those other features, such as trade in key stock markets in one currency, view real-time prices and much more.
