We have another important heads-up for The Witcher 3 players now, as CD Projekt Red has revealed that the upcoming Witcher 3 patch 1.06 on PS4 and Xbox One is coming soon.

In the meantime though we can now bring the full Witcher 3 PS4 1.05 update notes as they have been posted on the official forums for the game.

This is the same update that is already available on PC as 1.06, meaning that the next PC update will be Witcher 3 1.07 for PC and when that is ready – 1.06 for console will follow.

Every other is an tertiary issue but please try to fix the stutter first. It lags heavily while using igni or in combat and in swamps. That makes it unplayable. ( ps4 ).

Yeah, I wish I had never upgraded from 1.03. All 1.04 did was add pop-in textures on PS4 and to top it off, there is still frame rate stutter. May as well have kept the better graphics. I can actually run up to, and into a building before the textures outside have loaded. I can run up to Hattori, the blacksmith, and he’ll be hammering away on his anvil with no head. It literally takes 15 seconds for his head to show up. If textures do load, the “talk” function will not load for various NPC for quite a few seconds. At first, I thought it was a targeting issue, but then put down my controller the last few times it happened, and it was just a matter of waiting for everything to load in the region. They really gimped the PS4 copy. It looked better, though it may have stuttered more, but at least there wasn’t noticeable pop-in textures and crap…and I’m pretty sure the post-processing was taken down a notch. It just didn’t seem as filtered as it had been. Jaggier, less detailed.
