Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat release expectancy

There is no denying that some of you would love to see a Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat released, and if we are to go on a recent report, then it could happen – although we do not know when, and how much faith we should put into the idea.

We assume that the Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat release expectancy from fans has now increased since the report from Motor Authority suggests the project is now underway and comes with the codename Project K. The report says the project has now been given the green light to enter production, so if we are to believe the report, then what can we expect?

Jeep Grand Cherokee Hellcat confirmed

From what we can make out the Grand Cherokee Hellcat could be something truly special if done right, and all this will begin with the very powerful 6.2-liter supercharged V8, although with enough air to allow it to breathe and to get over 200 miles per hour.

The current AWD system will need some work in order to handle that extra torque, and an eight-speed automatic transmission borrowed from the Dodge Hellcat would need to be used as well.

The brakes will need to be rather large, with plenty of cooling to help stop such a huge beast, especially when you consider it could be a 200MPH plus vehicle. However, we do have some doubts, as it will take a huge amount of engineering to make certain all the components can handle such speeds.

Jeep has yet to confirm the Grand Cherokee Hellcat, so we have to take this with a grain of salt for now.
