Canon PowerShot G3 X specs targets specific photographers

Most cameras have a specific target in mind, and this is very much the same as the Canon PowerShot G3 X, if its leaked specs are anything to go by. From what we can see those of you into wider aperture for low-light photography, then you might want to give this new model a miss. However, if you like your zoom lenses, then the G3 X could be just what you are looking for.

The Canon PowerShot G3 X release date is still unknown, although with these new details being leaked we can only assume its launch will not be too far away. We have been hearing rumors of this camera for a while now, so surely Canon will offer details soon?

Back to those technical specification – and we can see this new camera will come with a 25x zoom lens, which is equivalent to 24-600mm if a DSLR. Other features include a f/2.8-5.6 aperture, 1-inch CMOS sensor, which will resist dust and water, along with built-in WiFi and NFC.

To help control the Canon PowerShot G3 X settings and to preview your shots easier, there is a tiltable LCD display, and the Creative modes will be the icing on the cake.

From what we can make it there is no built-in EVF, which is a must for such a camera. With that being said, we cannot wait to see the first Canon PowerShot G3 X Vs FZ1000 comparison.
