MY16 Jaguar XJ price for key upgrades

We have been anxiously waiting for details on the Jaguar XJ 2016 update, and the UK carmaker has finally revealed details. The model is known as the MY16 Jaguar XJ, and will be released to the UK public in the autumn. The company describes this as the “the most dynamic, distinctive luxury saloon” that you can currently get on the market, although that remains to be seen.

Two of the most obvious features with this update are the new LED headlights and also a beautiful leather interior. Ok, so we know that does not constitute dynamic, but it is luxurious. However, the car’s new infotainment system and InControl Touch Pro service do add a little something special to the new model.

There is only the long-wheelbase version, although this is better because it gives passengers at the rear more legroom. The new Jaguar XJ model price starts at £58,690, although if you went for the top of the line Autobiography trim, then you will expect to pay a massive £100,000.

All trim levels come with the same 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine, which will produce 296 horsepower. However, there is also the current 5.0-litre V8 option, along with the V6 engine that produces 225 horsepower.
