Beats Pill XL recall, submit your return request for reimbursement

By Peter Chubb - Jun 3, 2015

It’s not very often that Apple issues a recall, but that has changed today, as the company is recalling the Beats Pill XL portable Bluetooth speaker. This is not necessarily one of their products, but they are sold in their stores, and also now being owned by Apple.

This is a voluntary recall because there is a fear the battery in these products could overheat. These speakers were also bought from other retailers, and so you will need to study the Beats Pill XL Speaker Recall Program to know what your next step will be.

Having said that, we do know you will need to head to this submit your return request page, where you will be met with an online form.

The information you will need to provide is your name and address, serial number, and how you would like to be reimbursed. You have two choices, these are Apple Store Credit or Electronic Payment.

You will then be sent a postage paid box to return your Beats Pill XL, and once they have received it your payment should be processed in around three weeks.
