Advanced Warfare update live on Xbox One for June 2

By Daniel Chubb - Jun 2, 2015

There’s a new Call of Duty Advanced Warfare update on Xbox One that just went live today, June 2. It’s not clear what is included within the new AW patch notes thanks to the finer details not being revealed at the time of publication, but we are installing the file as you can see within the Xbox One screenshot below.

The PS4 is a little different with game updates thanks to clearly showing a file version after installed, although Xbox One systems don’t detail this information very easily. For now, we just know there’s a new Advanced Warfare update live on Xbox One for June 2.

It’s worth mentioning the COD Advanced Warfare Supremacy DLC is live a little earlier than our expected release time, as we detailed in this article. The download came almost exactly when Michael Condrey, Studio Head, said it would after a tweet stating “30 minutes”. One of the PR team managed to download the DLC at around 9AM UK time, or 1AM PST.

This new AW Xbox One update would most likely be for general bug fixes and support for the Supremacy DLC, as we have seen in the past. What changes have you noticed since installing the new patch, and have you got hands-on with the Advanced Warfare Carrier zombies in DLC 3?

If you notice any glitches or game breaking problems after downloading the DLC/patch, then detail them in the comments. We will of course post details on this and any future patch notes, so keep connected to PR’s social media channels.
