Driveclub scheduled server maintenance for June 1-2

By Daniel Chubb - Jun 1, 2015

While you might be looking forward to trying out PS4’s Driveclub after installing the 1.16 update, it might not be the perfect day to play considering there’s planned server maintenance for today until June 2, 2015. The exact time Driveclub servers will be taken down today isn’t clear, but it will be some point over June 1 to 2.

Also, the outage will be targeting replacing those Driveclub servers responsible for Challenges, so you will still be able to get into multiplayer. The exact “Server Updates” status message can be seen below, which talks about the servers being replaced and upgraded with dates that don’t contain offline times.

As noted above, you will be able to continue to play and create Challenges, but these won’t transfer with your Event History to the new servers. This is one of the biggest upgrades to date for Driveclub servers, and it will enhance all areas of the game.

When it comes to new features for Driveclub Challenges, you will really appreciate having “unlimited participants”, improvements to the invite system, live notifications, and bigger Challenges.

Have you seen the Driveclub server maintenance start today and if so, were the problems experienced only related to Challenges? We have already heard from Product Reviews readers requesting certain new features since the game released, which includes private lobbies that’s one of the most demanded improvements.
