Google updates I/O 2015 app for live stream and schedule

By Peter Chubb - May 28, 2015

The Google I/O app has been updated for this year’s event, and so the 2015 update now brings three new features. These are a visual refresh, along with a live screen for the event and also in-app conference notifications to keep you in the loop when you are unable to check your phone all the time.

Version 3 of this app also brings with it some features from last year, and so you will be able to enjoy a Google I/O 2015 live stream, for those that cannot attend and so view the entire schedule for those of you that are heading to the conference later today.

Some of the other features to look forward to at the event that promises to share more details on Android M, and hopefully Google Glass 2 are details on the speakers, themes and the various topics up for discussion.

If you are attending, then you will enjoy the welcome return of the feature that allows you to add events and personalize your own schedule, as well as setting up reminders so you do not miss them.

What else is good is how you can set your schedule on one Android device, and then share it with another, so from your smartphone to your tablet. This is just a fraction of what this app has to offer, so what are you waiting for, download it now, as you only have a few hours left before the event kicks off.
