By Peter Chubb - May 27, 2015

Nikon has released firmware update version 1.10 for its 1 V3 camera, and with it brings support for the Camera Control Pro 2 v2.22.0 software. With this firmware now going live it means several operations can now be performed using said software.

There are not many new features to add to the camera, but Nikon 1 V3 firmware update 1.10 will allow certain settings to be adjusted from Camera Control Pro 2.

Looking over the release notes, which you can see on the Nikon website, we can already see one new feature that will be welcome by Nikon 1 V3 owners, and that is the ability to use the Camera Control Pro 2 live view window to take still images, along with recording videos.

You will also be able to select the AF area, as well as adjusting various camera settings. This software will now support best moment capture.

This is by no means a large update, but still one that will be well-received by those that own one of these cameras, so what are you waiting for, download the update now, which you can also do via the link above.
