There’s a number of optional bosses in Bloodborne on PS4, these are more like side-quests, which you don’t have to find and kill to complete the game. If you want to discover all of the Bloodborne optional bosses and need a little help with locations, then this page will list those that we know about and Product Reviews readers can add more information within the comments.
Where are the Bloodborne optional bosses located? You will see Ebrietas, Daughter of the Cosmos, within the screenshot below and this boss will appear if you head to the Upper Cathedral Ward. You see Ebrietas appear after breaking a window that’s next to the Lumenflower Gardens Lamp, and once defeated you will gain the Great Isz Chalice.
Another optional boss in Bloodborne is the Blood-starved Beast that’s found in Old Yharnam. Again, if you find and defeat this boss you will be awarded with the Pthumeru Chalice and this unlocks the Church of the Good Chalice Lamp. It’s worth noting that you can also gain the Lower Hintertomb Chalice, considering this Beast is a boss for the Hintertomb Chalice Dungeon as well.
If you want to track down all the optional bosses, then there’s at least six others we know about. These include the Moon Presence located in the Hunter’s Dream, although you needed to consume three One Third of Umbilical Cords before beating Gehrman. Another Great Ones boss in Bloodborne is Amygdala, the location is pretty easy and found in Nightmare Frontier.
You also have Celestial Emissary located in the Upper Cathedral Ward, Yharnam (Pthumerian Queen) located in the Chalice Dungeon, the Cleric Beast, and as mentioned above Gehrman the First Hunter in Hunter’s Dream.
