Pentax K-S2 review roundup appeals to enthusiasts

By Peter Chubb - May 6, 2015

The Pentax K-S2 DSLR has been on the market for a few weeks now and it has already been pitted against rival models from Canon and Nikon, as well as plenty of K-S2 vs. K-3 comparisons. However, from what we can make out from all the reviews we have seen of this latest model from Ricoh; is that while it is a great camera for families, it will also appeal to enthusiasts.

Pentax K-S2 review roundup – When looking over several reviews most of them do seem to pick up on the same points, such as this new model offering great photo quality, and because it has been weather-sealed, you do not have to worry about taking photos when it begins to rain.

CNET also states that while the viewfinder is larger and comes with a good selection of features, the one thing that lets it down is poor video quality. It is a good all-round camera, but the lack of video quality could put a few potential buyers off.

Techradar also seems very positive and points out that they love the small design, WiFi and NFC, although missed having a touchscreen and came across a few photos that were underexposed.
