The new Ford C-MAX for 2015 offers a vast improvement over the previous model, and even more so with the Titanium trim. If you have never experienced this trim level before, then be prepared for a decent amount of equipment. There is no denying the fact that this model is still fun to drive, and a recent review points this out clearly, which also reiterates the engine options.
Before we take a little look at that new Ford C-MAX Titanium review, we thought we would look at those engine options once again, which we know is a bit of a sore subject. For some reason the UK market does not get the 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and so has to make do with two 1.0-litre EcoBoost options and also a pair of economical TDCi diesels.
If you like the sound of a normal engine, then you need to pick the petrol options, otherwise you will be far better going for the diesel engines, as these look set to become the most popular.
Auto Express says in its review that the new C-MAX is a much more complete package, and residual values are expected to be far better than previous models.
There are plenty of visual changes to the exterior, such as new headlights, grille and a larger crease in the doors, as well as the bonnet being resculpted. The interior is also a far better place than before with the dash getting a much-needed refresh, DAB radio and a new SYNC2 touchscreen.
The starting price is just over £20,000, and if you are interested you can configure one of these by visiting the Ford UK website.
