The new Kia Picanto has received a bit of a facelift and has now gone on sale in the UK, with the entry-level starting price set at £8,295 with destination tax. The changes made are not huge, although just enough to make it worth the upgrade – well for some of you anyway.

Some of the features for this 2015 Kia Picanto refresh are new front and rear bumpers, a redesigned front grille and optional extras such as alloys and a sports package. Its not just changes to the exterior, as the interior has had some work done as well, which includes new chrome trim and additional upholstery options like leather seats.

2015 Kia Picanto trim level options – There are five in all to choose from, which are 1, SR7, 2, 3 and 4, which we have to say is a very strange lineup indeed. Most of these come with four electric windows as standard, as well as remote central locking, tinted glass and 60/40 split folding rear seats. There is also the 1 Air, which adds air-con to the entry-level model.

You may wonder what on earth the SR7 is, as this is a new model for the 2015 Picanto. This replaces the VR7, and so now comes with some great added features, which include steering wheel-mounted controls, air conditioning, electric front windows, rear parking sensors, as well as Bluetooth and USB ports.
