We noticed that the new Samsung JS9500 SUHD TV range is already available in the UK, but the US had yet to see its release. However, the day will soon be upon us, although try not to get too excited because there is the little subject of price.
If you are thinking of going for the 65-inch model, then you will have to get ready to part with $6,500, although there is a larger 85-inch model. Samsung has yet to announce how much that will cost, although we highly suspect it will be in the region of $10,000.
The price for that smaller model is much the same as the range from last year, and so there are no signs of prices falling just yet. Having said that, we suspect when prices for these premium 4K TVs from Samsung start to fall once more people start buying them, and then the likes of Samsung and it rivals start to push 8K models more.
Let’s say you do decide to part with $6,500 for the JS9500 SUHD TV, then you might as well keep spending and get a curved soundbar to match. One model that would go well with the TV is the J8500, as its price is also on the high side.
The J8500 price is $1,300, which is a lot, but it will support curved TVs from 65 inches to 78 inches, although you still might get away with using it with the 85-inch JS9500, it will just not reach the ends.
