Are you impressed by Microsoft’s unveil of the Surface 3 tablet? Right now, you can pre-order the upcoming device at Microsoft’s website, but we wanted to briefly talk about the claim that the Surface 3 battery life will last all day.

Earlier this week, Microsoft unveiled a Surface 3 features video, giving consumers an overview of what they can expect to see when the tablet ships this May.

Aside from a lovely design, a free upgrade to Windows 10 and full access to the Office suite, the part which caught our eyes was Microsoft saying that the Surface 3 battery life can go through a full day.

In the preview video, they specifically advertise it as ‘all day battery life’, while on the Microsoft Store it is specifically highlighted as offering up to 10 hours of battery life in reality.

This is the same promise that Apple offers for their iPad Air tablet, so it will be interesting to see if Microsoft can back up their claim once the Surface 3 is in the hands of owners.

Battery life is obviously the key aspect for many consumers before deciding whether to purchase, so let us know how you are feeling right now after watching Microsoft’s Surface 3 highlight video below.
