It had been rumored last week that Microsoft was working on the Surface 3, which made sense seeing as though the current version is now getting on a bit, and missed an update last year. We like that Microsoft has finally updated this cheaper tablet, although don’t expect any major changes.

We already knew that the biggest change was going to be the its operating system, as gone is support for an RT version, and instead you get just the one version, and that is Windows 8.1 64-bit OS. However, we also know that it will fully support Windows 10, and so will be free to upgrade once that new version of the OS is released.
