Apple TV special event app live with countdown

By Daniel Chubb - Mar 9, 2015

The Apple TV special event app icon is now live for the March 9 press conference with a countdown, as you can see within the screenshots taken a few minutes ago. The overall theme follows that of Apple’s press invites to the event today, which promotes the idea of Spring forward and makes fans think about other possibilities like a 4th Gen Apple TV, as well as the 6th generation iPod touch.

While we can count on Apple’s Watch taking the spotlight during the keynote, it’s the other products that are just hopes at this time. We have a feeling something more will appear during the keynote presentation, but again this is just wishful thinking until we see all revealed in a few hours.

The Apple TV event app showcases the keynote start time in GMT, PST, EST, or any other time that is local for your region. This means you don’t need to workout local times, just be ready at the displayed time and hope the video stream doesn’t freeze like we have seen in the past.

Will you be watching the Apple event today on the little TV box, or are you going to the official website and streaming with another device? Keep connected with Product Reviews throughout the day, as we will be breaking both rumors and the official news about any new products. The finer details for Apple Watch launch dates for UK, USA, and other European countries will be given when the information releases.

Update: It’s worth mentioning there’s a countdown to the event starts, also thanks to the daylight saving change the UK will see the event start at 5PM. Normally, it’s 6PM in the UK when 10AM PST, but that’s not the case today.
