Kia Sportspace concept teases new Optima estate styling

With there not being too long to wait until the Geneva Motor Show there is a great deal of anticipation as to what new models we can expect. There is already a great deal to get excited about, such as the Kia Sportspace concept. What excites us most is that this gives us a clear indication as to the new Optima estate styling.

You can see in the images that this is of a shooting brake design and so is surely an indication of what to expect from the new Optima estate, which is due to be released later this year.

Details of interest – We love the one-piece leather on the seats, along with its trim that has been finished in gloss leather with a mix of silver woven fabric with a brushed aluminum. Then there is that beautiful raised center console, which is dominated by a rectangular touchscreen infotainment system.

As for the engine, this concept will be powered by a 1.7-litre diesel-electric hybrid powertrain, which is part of Kia’s T-hybrid system. Then there is that exterior with its quad headlights, D-pillar that has been brought more forward and also its design shutter grille.

It will be interesting to see how the Kia Sportspace concept (visit the press page) will be perceived at the Geneva Motor Show, because if it is not all that positive, then it does not bode well for the next-gen Optima estate.
