ESPN update for live ICC Cricket World Cup scores

By Peter Chubb - Feb 13, 2015

The 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup begins tomorrow, 14 February 2015, which just so happens to be Valentine’s Day. The event kicks off at Auckland’s Eden Park and because of the time difference to the rest of the world, some of us may be asleep, or find it hard to watch the matches live.

However, there is an easy way to keep up with those latest ICC Cricket World Cup scores, and that is by using the ESPN app on iTunes, which just so happens to have received an update.

The app was updated yesterday and so is pretty much ready for you to take full advantage of what’s new in version 4.2. Some of those new features include improved support for the iPad, so now the large screen will give you live scores and news at the same time.

ESPN has also improved the look of its app so that it looks even better on the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus. ESPN Now allows you to swipe to the right while in the news section to access photos, videos and other media content, such as the latest from the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup.

We have to say, we are very impressed with this overhaul, and ask that you download the app or update yours now to give it a test drive.
