2015 Ford Mondeo Vs Mazda 6 and Skoda Superb Estate

By Peter Chubb - Feb 13, 2015

The all-new 2015 Ford Mondeo has been a long time coming because this model is based on the Fusion, which was released in the US back in 2012. There will be many versions of this car, although we have a feeling the 2015 Ford Mondeo estate will prove one of the more popular versions because it is not only family friendly, but also great as a company car.

The big question is, how will the new model compare to two of its nearest rivals, the Mazda 6 Tourer and the Skoda Superb Estate? This is something that Autocar wanted to look into, and while the website has given them an equal review score, when pitted together a different picture is built up.

Mazda 6 tourer showdown

Many of us have been wondering if this new Mondeo has been worth the wait, especially the estate version because if its increase passenger and luggage space.

2015 Skoda Superb Estate

In one corner we have the Ford Mondeo Estate 2.0 TDCi 150 Titanium, which has been pitted against the Mazda 6 Tourer 2.2D 150 SE-L Nav and finally, the Skoda Superb Estate 2.0 TDI 140 SE.

Autocar has taken a look into all the main aspects of these cars, such as their engine performance and fuel-economy, how safe they are and many other key specs, some of which you can see below.

We can tell you that the Mazda came in first place, Ford next with Skoda bringing up the rear.
