CES 2015: Canon and Panasonic cameras

By Peter Chubb - Jan 6, 2015

CES has yet to get into its stride, as more companies still have a lot to show, although some of the big camera makers have already shown their hands. We already know that Nikon finally unveiled its D5500 touchscreen DSLR and now Canon and Panasonic have revealed their new 2015 lineup.

We know what you are thinking, what about the best TVs from CES 2015, but don’t worry because we will look into that towards the end of the show. Not all consumer electronics makers have unveiled their new range for the coming year, so we wish to give them a little more time.

Going back to the new Canon and Panasonic cameras, there are some great models to look forward to and both companies already have press releases for each new model.

Canon has five new models coming to market this year, those are the PowerShot ELPH 160, ELPH 170 IS, SX530 HS, SX610 HS and the range-topping SX710 HS. You can find details on each of these here, which you then need to click on each model to download their press kits.

From what we can tell there are four new Panasonic cameras coming to market in 2015, these are the Lumix TZ70, TZ57, FT30 and the SZ10. Again, we ask that you head to the official Panasonic website for full specs and pricing for each model.
