2015 Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon specs review

Lenovo first introduced the Thinkpad X1 Carbon laptop back in 2012 and has updated the model each year since, so it comes as no surprise that the company has announced a new model for 2015. We are not certain why this is being classed as a third-generation when there were the original, and new models in 2013 and 2014, so this edition should technically be the 4th-generation.

One of the main improvements is to its battery life, which is a must in this day and age, and this is done without adding any unnecessary weight to the overall design.

2015 Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon specs

The main features for this latest X1 Carbon laptop are a 14-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 There is a choice of Intel Broadwell processors, 4GB of RAM and 512GN of storage, although this can be upgraded thanks to choice of optional upgrades.

You also get a 720p HD webcam, Bluetooth 4.0, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, a DisplayPort, and much more, all of which is detailed in the video review below.

Price and availability – The starting price for the 2015 X1 Carbon edition is $1,249 and its release will be later this month.
