The DriveClub 1.09 update is now live on PS4 with a 2.54GB file size, so if you want to get playing soon then we recommend you start this download as soon as possible. You might have noticed some patches seem to get stuck in the “preparing to download” phase for a while, and then start with the majority of the file downloaded.
This is a larger file size than most updates and we have seen the DriveClub 1.09 update notes include a lot less than the 1.08 full patch notes we saw a couple of weeks ago. You can see a screenshot of the latest update notes below.
Evolution Studios wanted to fix some problems that might have resulted from the previous update. DriveClub’s 1.09 patch has fixed the stability of Challenges, but also includes unnamed usability and performance improvements as well.
What have you noticed since installing the large 2.54GB DriveClub 1.09 update on your PS4? If you run into any issues with Challenges post 1.09, then share a comment.
If we receive confirmation about this, or the free PS Plus version, then we’ll update Product Reviews readers as soon as the news arrives. Lag, freezing, servers down, and any other PS4 problems should be left below.
