Advanced Warfare 1.06 PS3 update for precise freezing fix

By Daniel Chubb - Dec 18, 2014

The next December Call of Duty Advanced Warfare 1.06 update for PS3 still needs to deliver a precise freezing fix, say the players of this game on this platform. It’s strange that Sledgehammer Games obviously knew about PS4 and PS3 COD Advanced Warfare freezing problems for a while, in fact our very own article attracted almost 330 comments over 6 weeks ago in regard to freezing.

After the findings we first published, a fix emerged for freezing or crashing on both Xbox 360 and PS3. This involved making sure the first class slot was empty, and later on we also heard about disabling the paintball effect to help fix the issue as well.

We cannot understand why complaints are still coming in after the 1.05 patch, especially considering the evidence from hundreds of our readers and thousands on other websites.

COD Advanced Warfare needed a December update for PS3 freezing and we got the full patch notes, although it’s now clear this issue wasn’t a priority or the developers couldn’t fix the problem.

Are you happy with keeping the first class slot free and turning the paintball effect off, or is it a big deal to you that the PS3 gets Advanced Warfare 1.06 right away for this issue? Product Reviews readers should note that the next update for this platform is likely to come next week at the earliest.

To stop the freezing dont use custom class 1 and don’t use paintball mode

Mine started freezing after downloading the patch yesterday. Hasn’t done this before but since the patch it’s unplayable.
