2015 BMW 6 Series refresh Vs 2014 for changes

By Peter Chubb - Dec 11, 2014

Ever since watching Moonlighting my best model of BMW has been the 6 Series, as it seems to offer the best styling with its mix of luxury and sporty flavor. While there have been some questionable styling decisions with the likes of the 3 Series, its larger sibling has never had such an issue – well that’s my personal view anyway.

Let’s hope that the 2015 BMW 6 Series refresh will keep up that tradition, and those changes will be far worth going for the newer model over the current 2014 version?

2015 BMW 6 Series Vs 2014 – We can already see from the images there are several design tweaks on the new model, and those changes carry on over to the interior. The biggest change is at the front-end as it is sharper, giving the newer model a completely different look.

The famous kidney grille now has nine slats instead of ten, although only the most eagled-eyed fans would spot this. The new full-LED headlights also get a more angular shape to go with that front end. The window surrounds have also had a few design tweaks to give them a more up-to-date look.

However, there are also some much-needed changes on the inside, such as the center console coming with high-gloss black trim, and LEDs to help illuminate the interior.

The only other changes of interest are the new option packs, high-gloss black trim and M Sport Edition, more details of which can be found on BMW.com or you can view the video below.
