Free PS4 game from EA yours to keep forever

It’s not just Sony who are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of PlayStation. EA are also getting in on the act and to show their generosity they are giving away Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare on PS4 – absolutely free.

The game is going to be available to download for free, as long as you grab it this weekend. We have heard about some confusion on whether this game will only be available as long as you have an existing PS Plus subscription.

However, we can confirm that this isn’t the case. You don’t even need a PS Plus account to download the game – just search for Plants for Zombies on the PS Store and you’ll notice that it doesn’t have any payment attached to it.

Furthermore, we’ve also got confirmation from EA’s Peter Moore who has said that the game will be free to keep forever in response to early questions from fans who are asking about the download conditions.

Considering the bad press that EA get for being stingy, this is a wonderful offer from the company in our opinion. Plants Vs Zombies is an amazing game and it’s great to see that it’s available absolutely free.

We must warn you that it’s a 3GB download though, so you better start downloading right away. Let us know your thoughts on this – Are EA now in your good books after this?
