Significant all-new Toyota Tacoma changes suggested

The all-new Toyota Tacoma is said to come with significant changes that will be unveiled next month during the 2015 Detroit Auto Show, although the powers that be at the company have yet to announce what those updates will be.

It is very hard to deny the current model is showing its age and in desperate need of an update, and so the next generation Toyota Tacoma cannot come soon enough. From what current owners have been saying there is a general consensus that there needs to be new engines with improved fuel-economy and a better interior, and so you need to see these images from Autoblog to see if the cabin is a better space to be.

With the images you get to see just how large the newer model is, which was needed seeing as though the truck segment has changed over the years, the Canyon and Colorado a fine example of that. Having said that, some people would disagree because we have heard from some of our readers saying the current Tacoma is a bit big and needs to be reduced in size, so which side of the fence are you on?

One reader did have a very good point by saying while the larger trucks meet the needs of many American drivers, the price of these full-size trucks do not. With an ever-growing choice of full-size trucks there is a greater demand for compact ones, but they seem to be very hard to come by.

Let’s just hope that what we see next month is a big departure from previous models, as Toyota has not engineered anything competitive for several years now – well that is the opinion of some of our readers.
