DriveClub PS Plus release date MIA for Christmas

By Alan Ng - Dec 5, 2014

We are coming up to two months since the release of DriveClub on PS4, but despite that we are still no closer to finding out when the DriveClub PS Plus release date will be.

As most of you are now well aware, the DriveClub launch has been referred to as a ‘disaster’ and it has since prompted Sony to apologise and to offer free DLC as way of compensation.

However, what PS4 owners really want is to play the PS Plus Edition as promised, but sadly it doesn’t look like it is going to be available as a Christmas present.

There are still no updates on the situation with Evolution only saying that when there is a release date to share, they will announce it – that was a few days ago on December 2.

Those looking for a more concrete answer though, are not going to find it. Evolution are still citing DriveClub server problems with the main game as to the reason why there’s no update on the PS Plus Edition status yet.

The only good thing we can possibly think of at the moment, is that Sony has given away Injustice Gods Among Us this month on PS Plus and will offer Infamous First light in January – otherwise we have a feeling that emotion levels could be running high right now.
