Digital2 8-inch Platinum Pad is Quad Core, not Dual Core

By Alan Ng - Nov 30, 2014

Those of you who are on the looking for the best cheap Cyber Monday tablet, we have another recommendation to give you. Digital2 tablets are now selling for a low price and the Digital2 8-inch Platinum Pad 16GB tablet in particular may be one which you are considering at the moment.

Digital2 actually make some great tablets at a price that won’t break the bank. Some of you may not be too familiar with this brand, but you should definitely check out what Best Buy are offering at the moment.

During Cyber Monday, the retailer will be offering the Digital2 D2-861G_BK tablet for just $89.99, which is a $10 discount off an already incredible price of $100.

Features include a quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, A 2MP rear camera, an 8-inch 1200×800 display, 0.3MP webcam and 16GB of internal memory which can be expanded with MicroSD card.

We wanted to give you a heads-up as Best Buy actually advertise this as a dual-core tablet, which you can see on their listing here – where you can also check out some Digital2 8-inch Platinum Pad reviews. In actual fact though this Digital2 tablet runs on a quad-core processor, since it is confirmed on the manufacturer website here.

As a result, it’s a fantastic tablet for $89.99 and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat as well. You can download the Digital2 8-inch Platinum Pad manual for further information should you need it.

Are you surprised that the information listing on Best Buy is incorrect? It’s not the first time that we have seen this happen.
