New Kindle Fire HD 6 Vs 7 and Paperwhite tablet review

By Peter Chubb - Nov 28, 2014

Kindle has a great selection of Kindle devices, all of which will be in high demand over the coming days and weeks. Three models we believe will sell the most are the new Kindle Fire HD 6, 7 and the Paperwhite. The two tablets are very similar in what they offer albeit different seen sizes, where the latter has one goal in mind, and that is to make your reading experience easier than ever.

New Kindle Fire HD 6 Vs 7 – Like all tablets you will have the same dilemma on your hands, and that is what size you should go for. The first of these has a screen size of 6-inchs, which is only slightly larger than some smartphones, although it does make it easier to carry around when compared to some larger tablets.

Speaking of larger ones, the Fire HD 7 has a 7-inch screen and so the same as the Nexus 7, which as we know is a very popular size. However, we understand that you would like to know just how different they are, which you can do so by watching the video review below. We are reminded that these are low-end tablets, although they do not feel budget in the hand – just a bit on the thick side. You can also check out our recent review of both these models, where we compared their specs.

Amazon Kindle Paperwhite

As for the new Kindle Paperwhite, Amazon keeps its crown for offering the best eReaders on the market. We have added a second video below to show you how the Paperwhite 2 compares to the new Voyage. By watching the video you get to see just what both these models have to offer, although some of you may go with the former, as there are some great prices going on at the moment.

You can either head to Amazon.com to see some great deals on the Kindle range, or visit John Lewis in the UK, where you can get the Fire HD 7 8GB or 16GB models for £79 and £99 resepctavily.
