Polaroid Tab 8 specs with review limitations

By Peter Chubb - Nov 26, 2014

There seems to be a great deal of confusion because many of our readers have been asking about the Polaroid Tab 8, but when researching this model it should be called the Tablet 8, although there are still not that many results. Looking on the official website we can see two models of this screen size, and those are the S8 8-inch Dual-Core and the A8 8-inch Wi-Fi Tablet.

The Polaroid Tab 8 specs, as many people call this tablet, are very different and so it depends on two things if one is for you or not, and that is its main purpose and budget. We did want to offer a series of Polaroid Tab 8 video reviews, but we can only find one for the A8 model, which we have embedded for you below.

It seems strange that there is just the one review, which is a year old now, but at least you get to see what your money will get you, although expect to pay much less this month with some great upcoming deals.

Main specs for the S8 model are a dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of storage. It comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and has front and rear cameras. As for the A8, the specs for this model are a little better with a 1.6GHz ARM Cortex A9 version 2 CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 2-megapixel camera at the rear and 0.3-megapixel up front. However, this also runs the same OS and so not the best Android tablet out there.

Having said that, the price is expected to drop stupidly low tomorrow, and so it might be one to consider as your first tablet.
