If after reading details on the Vizio D650i-B2 you find this model is not for you, then maybe you should consider the 65-inch VIZIO M652i-B2? This is an upgrade model and so comes with several new features and improvements to its specs. The most notable changes are to picture quality and Smart TV.
However, the biggest change is to the full array of backlighting, which also helps improve picture quality, which in turn helps to increase the contrast level. Ok, so we know we are not looking at a high-end TV here, but if your budget cannot stretch to something like the Samsung UN65H6350A, then you should really consider this Vizio model.
The TV maker has not brought a return to 3D, as they made the decision earlier this year to do away with it in order to concentrate more on the quality of the pictures they can produce, and it seems to be working. 3D was always more of a gimmick and we don’t really hear about this technology much these days. It is all about just how good you can get the images to be re-produced, and 4K Ultra HD is proof of that, although not for this model.
The black levels are very impressive, and are far better than what its successor had to offer, and the use of Active Pixel Tuning certainly helps bring things together. You can adjust the levels of black in case there are some scenes that just does not require too much, but it is nice to have the option to go very dark.
We have seen some very positive 65-inch VIZIO M652I-B2 TV reviews, with one review below in video form. It is not as in-depth as we would like to have given you, but there isn’t much around. However, if you would like to read a review that covers everything about this model, then the LCD TV Buying Guide has you covered.
As for those main specs, these consist of a 65-inch Full Array LED panel, Active LED Zones, 1920 x 1080 resolution, 240Hz Effective Refresh Rate, DTS StudioSound, TruSurround and TruVolume. This TV certainly has a lot to offer and so we ask that you study this TV by downloading its manual.
